Plasma Cutting

We offer Plasma Cutting, a process used to cut thin (less than 1 inch thick), ferrous and non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, stainless steel and alloys and provides precision cutting with a smooth finish. It works when a high velocity jet of ionised gas at temperatures above 20,000˚C is used to turn elements of the gas into plasma, which when hot enough melts the material. Plasma gases used are normally argon, hydrogen or nitrogen.
